Alberto, this was a pleasure to read! So many people, regardless of nationality, become slaves to their societies. They never define their own identities, and instead become part of this "carnival", as you say.

Living on the fringes of society gives you unique and insightful perspectives that those within will probably never have. We see the true ugliness of things, and realize that knowing yourself is the only way out. Finding your purpose and establishing goals is a huge part of that, in my opinion.

It's easier to conform. Human beings don't like to be ostracized or singled out. But I can personally attest to the benefits of the tools you've provided here.. they've changed my life. Staring adversity in the face and taking advantage of loneliness has empowered me like nothing else!
