Hi David, thank you for your response. It gives me hope to know that there's still sanity to be found out there. There is nothing quite like finding a like-minded individual, especially when it comes to these sorts of topics. Most of the ideas you've laid out are also similar to what I'd propose myself. Besides that, you've given me some extra food for thought. SIDE NOTE: I should clarify that I don't think anything is wrong with single mothers - I was raised by one. I should have been more clear; I was referring to the specific phenomenon in the Black American community whereby HUGE numbers of women are left abandoned with their children. Unfortunately, this tends to occur most in socioeconomically depressed areas. It's a serious issue here that I'm quite familiar with, but one that a politician wouldn't dare go near. The nuclear family is a toxic disaster, you are right. I don't want it to be apart of our cultural narrative anymore. But I also want men here to be economically and socially responsible for their children.
